Two Sisters - One Destiny

Okay, I guess not many people here will know this anime, but I love both the anime and how this picture turned out!
The anime movie "Maetel Legend" (from the year 2000) is a sequel to my one and only favorite anime series "Queen Millennia" (from 1981), both created by Leiji Matsumoto. In "Maetel Legend", the former Queen Millennia La Andromeda Promethium (earth name: Yayoi Yukino) is the Queen of the Planet La Metal now (which doesn't make much sense, as Yayoi sacrificed herself for the sake of the Earth in the end of the series "Queen Millennia"). She has two daughters, the twins Emeraldas (on the left) and Maetel (on the right). As the Planet La Metal moves further and further away from the sun, it gets colder and colder. To avoid death, the people of La Metal submit themselves to mechanisation surgery, to become mechanoids and survive the cold. The Queen becomes a mechanoid, too (hence the glowing little things on her in this picture), but her daughters refuse to become machines. They decide to fight the mechanoid leader, Hardgear, and their mother, who eventually becomes a powerful mechanoid and doesn't feel motherly love any more.
I came to think of the line "Two sisters - one destiny" for the movie, and so I made this "movie poster". Hope you like it (even if you don't know the movie or the series).
