Loom: An Alternative Ending?

Description

Well, look who made some Loom fanart again? :D

Now, those who know the awesome game by LucasArts will certainly ask: Where did this scene appear? I'll tell you: It appeared in my dream! :XD:
Really! A few nights ago, I had a very interesting dream: In that dream, there was a Loom movie (that really would be a dream to me!), and I watched it. It was amazing, but the ending was completely different! Bobbin did not have to face Lord Chaos on Loom Island in the end, but Bishop Mandible. Instead of the chamber of the Great Loom, Bobbin entered a new huge tent on the island, which was set up by Mandible and filled with hundreds of weaving sticks, as you see here. Mandible planned to use them to intensify the magic drafts or something. I'm not entirely sure how everything went on then, but Bobbin tried to stop Mandible from using these weaving sticks, and somehow the whole island started falling apart then, and Bobbin had to flee with the rest of his Guild - somehow, they were no longer transcended.

It was a weird dream, but also very suspenseful and intense. So, I really had to picture at least one scene from this dream. I decided to draw Bobbin as he enters the tent and sees all the weaving sticks hanging around. I wanted him to look up in a shocked way, don't know if I succeeded at that. And I added lights to the weaving sticks, as if they were playing a draft.
By the way, I only used Photoshop and my tablet to draw this. No sketch before drawing. I like how Bobbin turned out. The background didn't turn out that great, but I didn't put that much effort in it, anyways. It was only the tent and the weaving sticks, which were all duplicated. Well, hope you like it. :)

That's a really interesting alternate ending. It is a shame the game series was never finished. I'm afraid if it was finished now it wouldn't have the same effect without the pixels, 2D scrolling, and similiar gameplay. Loom is a truly beautiful and awe inspiring game. I always try to get new people to find a place to download it and play it.
