Hi y'all!
Well, I just rediscovered some interesting widgets only Core Members get to use, like the "Shoutbox" and the "Polls". And wow, they still contain all that stuff from that donated 3-months-subscription I had in 2008! That's cool.
So, I wanted to create a new poll right away, though I didn't know what to ask at first. This is gonna be interesting...
So, what else is new? Actually, I do have some great news to share. I've actually known about that for a while, but I wanted to save it for a better time: I quit my job, because they didn't treat me (and my colleagues) right any more. I had a job interview and a "test" day at another clinic, it really seemed so much better there from the very first moment, and they also liked me from the start. Plus, it's closer to where my boyfriend lives (and where we'll eventually live together). So, I'm gonna start working there in May, I'm really excited about it.

Just when I thought 2024 would be better...
Hi there y'all! I guess it's time for my quarterly Journal Entry again. And I do feel like I need to get some words out of my system... So, 2024 was off to a great start, but then things hit rock bottom again real quick. First of all, my mother hasn't been in a good condition lately, regarding her health. For most of last year, she was suffering from severe pain in her back and arms, and the doctors weren't sure what was wrong with her. One time, she was diagnosed with osteoporosis, then with rheumatism, then borreliosis... The doctors always prescribed different kinds of drugs, some of them helped her, some didn't... Some, she even refused to take, because she was worried about the side-effects. And around Christmas, things got even worse, she was suffering from vertigo and extremely low blood pressure, and in January, she even started having difficulties with speaking and writing, but she still didn't want to go see a doctor! Hi there y'all! Wow, how fast did this year go by, especially the second half of it? I can't believe my last Journal Entry was in July already! Well, I did say I wanted to write a journal once every 3 months or at least once per quarter of the year, so I accomplished that at least... Well, there was a lot going on in my life, the usual ups and downs, but thank goodness, more ups than downs this time! As I said in my last journal, I finally found a way to slowly come to terms with the things that happened to me after the birth of my son. I've had a "trauma-sensitive birth reprocessing" therapy, which still isn't completed, but it did help me a lot already. Of course, this specific sort of therapy isn't paid by the health insurance, but it's definitely worth every €uro I paid! And then, on November 25th, I had another amazing experience that gave me some sort of closure I never thought I'd find... People who follow me on my private Instagram account probably know what I mean. I didn't

Hi there y'all! It's been a while again, hasn't it? Well, I've been quite busy again lately, but I figured it was about time for a new Journal Entry, as I really want to write a new one at least once every three months - or once every quarter of the year. First of all, like I said, life has been busy for me, but all in all, it's been treating me quite well. In my last Journal Entry, I said things were finally looking up, and that trend has been going on, thankfully. There were some strange things happening as well, or things that made me think in negative ways again, but they always turned out to be either good in other ways or not going on for too long. E.g. my son did have his "moments" again, but they're not as often, as bad or as "long-ongoing" anymore as they used to be. Something else that was a bit strange, but turned out to be actually good for me: Some people who were following me on Instagram who I knew - or at least I thought I knew them - from a different online
Some things I've been thinking about...
Hi there y'all! Well, I've been a bit quiet recently, at least when it came to writing journal entries. This was mainly because of my new work, but also because I have been sick for three weeks. First, I've had a cold that didn't want to go away for about two weeks. And in the second week of being sick, on top of that, I got an otitis media in my left ear! It hurt like hell, and my ear has been almost deaf for about two weeks. I still hear some kind of a high-pitched beeping or whistling sound in that ear, but at least, the deafness went away by now. I do hope the hearing in my left ear will turn back to normal eventually! My son also had an infection in his left ear for a few days in between - that wasn't funny, either. But he recovered more quickly than I did, thank goodness. He's fine, but his best friend has been sick for a while now. Oh, did I mention my son finally found a best friend in kindergarten? I'm really happy about that! They had their first "playdate", outside of
